Alexis Bittar

Alexis Bittar was born August 25th 1968 in Brooklyn, New York to proud parents Helen & Bob Bittar who both work as University professors & dedicated antique collectors. On his 13th Birthday, he was given an entangled lot of antique jewelry from his parents. The gift sparked a long standing curiosity and fascination with the detailed hand-craftsmanship that went into the creation of each piece. Alexis decided to sell the jewelry on Saint Marks place in NYC. Alexis attending High school at the Bronx school of Science where he soon got a taste for the city life and discovered the NYC club Scene. His interests rapidly turned to fashion and design. He is described as one of the greatest Jewelry Designers of the 21st century. Alexis Bittar went from Hawking his ware on the streets of New York, to selling his eponymous jewelry collections in more than 34 countries around the globe.
